As a way of thanking its advertisers for their unending support, Cook Magazine celebrated its 5th Annual Holiday Bash at Houze Manila in Remington Hotel last November 24.
The Disco Fever themed party was an occasion for guests to mingle, enjoy the food and drinks, and be merry as Cook Magazine recognized its 2015 Top Advertisers that made it possible for the publication to be the country’s longest running monthly food magazine.
Cook Magazine sincerely thanked the following advertisers: Petron Corporation, Lamoiyan Corporation, Hafele Philippines, Ugong Trade and Holdings, Inc., Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Mondelez Philippines, Gifted Minds PR and Marketing Consultancy, Berghoff Philippines, Excellence Appliances Technologies Inc., Unilever Food Solutions, Appstar Global Distributors, Inc., HDR Foods Corporation, G.Q.W.E.S.T. Inc., Zinven International Corporation, and Wilmington Imex Inc.
It also thanked the following agencies: Starcom (Petron), M2M Media (Fujidenzo), Mindshare (Unilever Food Solutions – Knorr and Lady’s Choice), Admix Inc. (Mother’s Best), and Accesspoint Integrated Marketing, Inc.
On its 15th year of publication, Cook Magazine continues to look for ways to involve its readers and evolve into a more complete experience. Apart from sharing recipes and food finds through articles and photos, Cook Magazine also wants to bring readers closer to the action and actually take them along in the journeys of food discovery.
Last year, they launched the Cook Magazine Kitchen Studio, a place where cooking, eating, and food photography blend seamlessly. The venue was spruced up recently courtesy of Mother’s Best sponsoring kitchen cabinetry and a new backsplash. The addition added more warmth and provided a space for product displays.
On the editorial side, Cook Magazine has also added new sections such as: Home and Living (contains crafts, decorating, and DIY projects) and Health and Wellness (where Dolly Dy-Zulueta features food and beverage products, restaurants, and destinations that promote wellbeing).
Eating is and has always been part of Cook Magazine. But among its staff members’ numerous dining adventures, the Foodie Road Trips are said to be the most fun and most anticipated. These out-of-town trips are opportunities to see the sights, enjoy the hotels and resorts, and meet fellow food lovers around the country.
Thus, Cook Club was created so that loyal readers can also join the discoveries by getting to experience the same hospitality extended to Cook Magazine by its partner establishments in the Philippines.
As part of this club, members also get to share favorite recipes and foodie finds, which may be posted on the publication’s Facebook page and website as well as in Cook Magazine every month. “It is our way of giving our readers the complete Cook Magazine experience and let them become a member of the team.” Join the group, here.
