Kopiko Launches Cafe Blanca with Celebrity Endorsers Marian Rivera, Aljur Abrenica, Iya Villania-Arellano, & Christian Bautista + Blog Giveaway (Winners Announced)

I like my coffee smooth and creamy. When Kopiko came out with their L.A. Coffee last year, I immediately liked how it tasted. I also appreciated its benefit to sensitive tummies because of the low-acid formulation.

My husband and sons, on the other hand, like Kopiko Kapuccino variant more so we buy the 30-piece pack weekly when buying groceries.

Recently, Kopiko launched the latest addition to its instant coffee mixes -- the creamylicious Kopiko Cafe Blanca which, I have to admit, is creamy coffee brought to the next level. From the Spanish word blanca that means white, Cafe Blanca has a tempting aroma, silky smooth texture, and delicious creamy goodness.

According to Michael Tandas, Marketing Manager of Kopiko Philippines, "We believe creamy coffee lovers deserve a different level of taste experience. Through Kopiko Cafe Blanca, an ordinary coffee time is transformed into a truly creamylicious moment with its extra-creamy special taste made for discerning consumers."

During the product launch hosted by Patty Laurel, Kopiko also showed its new TVC and introduced brand ambassadors Christian Bautista, Iya Villania-Arellano, Aljur Abrenica, and Marian Rivera. Each celebrity shared why Kopiko Cafe Blanca is now their choice when it comes to creamy coffee.

Christian, who frequently performs in other Asian countries like Indonesia and Malaysia, admitted that even though he has been exposed to various coffee brands and mixes outside the Philippines, he still found Cafe Blanca the best among them.

A fan of creamy coffee, Iya expressed her delight at finding a 3-in-1 coffee mix that has become her must-have during breakfast and which she enjoys pairing with pandesal

Aljur, whose physique was much highlighted in his role as Machete in a teleserye, revealed that drinking Cafe Blanca already satisfies his sweet cravings when he needs to cheat on his apparently effective Machete diet.

On the other hand, Marian described Cafe Blanca as outstanding and amazing, so much so that she kept on finishing what was in her cup during the TVC shoot that it had to be refilled again and again. She also said she likes drinking coffee while studying her scripts or during taping to keep her alert and awake.

Executives from PT Torabika Eka Semestra, makers of Kopiko, also graced the exclusive media event held at the Isabella Ballroom in Makati Shangri-la. Mr. Mulyono Nurlimo, Group Country Head for Philippines and Indian Sub-Continent, shared the rich history and vision of the company for local consumers.

He disclosed that PT Torabika has been developing the market in the Philippines since 1994. In 2006, it mounted aggressive and successful product launches starting with Kopiko Astig 3-in-1 Black Coffee then Kopiko Brown Coffee in 2009. These were succeeded by Kopiko Kopiccino and Kopiko L.A. Coffee.

For those who are not aware but may already have been consuming the products, PT Torabika also has a nutritious, healthy food range that includes Energen Cereals and Energen Go Fruit Instant Oats in addition to confectionery brands like Beng Beng chocolates, Fres Mint candy, and Kopiko Coffee Candy.

Nurlimo pointed out that PT Torabika is committed in serving quality and tasty food products with affordable prices for Filipino consumers. In line with this, Kopiko Cafe Blanca is now available for only P6.00 per 30-gram sachet in leading supermarkets, groceries, and sari-sari stores nationwide.
