When my youngest son was smaller, we'd often visit the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center (NFSDC) at SM Mall of Asia We loved watching shows inside the planetarium and playing with the very interactive exhibits. It has been several years since we've been there and I'm glad to know that there have been a lot of good changes.
This year, Nido Fortified and Science Discovery Center, take their partnership to greater heights by launching a new advocacy campaign and unveiling a new state-of-the-art planetarium with the most advanced and sophisticated theater system in the country.
The NFSDC is the country's first technology-based, highly interactive science center in the Philippines that aims to help kids reach their maximum potentials.
Dubbed Yes You Can! Gallery & Mommy Caravan, the latest NFSDC advocacy revolves around the thought of promoting child development via effective and trusted collaborations. This is rooted on the idea that it takes a TEAM to raise good and intelligent children.
"This team is composed of the mommies and the kids themselves," says Arturo Carballo, Jr. Senior Operations Manager of the NFSDC. "For teams to do well, they need good teammates. We want to be the teammates you can rely on through the Yes You Can! Gallery & Mommy Caravan."
NFSDC is offering mothers a venue to learn tips and techniques on how to raise a kid who is smart, intuitive, and healthy -- the main qualities of a Yes You Can! child. Check out the family bonding activities in this science center. They range from interactive games, workshops, and kiddie attractions where little ones can channel their creative energies.
First launched in 2008, the NFSDC is housed in a 3,000 square meter, two-level facility at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. It is open from Monday to Sunday, 10AM to 10PM.
