Starting November 15, 2012 to January 15, 2013, customers who buy a Samsung Digital Appliance will get discounts and freebies as well as get a chance to win in their raffle for a shopping spree worth P20,000.00
Earlier today, three groups got their chances to grab grocery items from Rustans Supermarket's shelves in Shangri-la Mall. Each winner was allowed to tag along three friends or family members. They were given three minutes to stuff their cart with goodies, cram them all inside a Samsung refrigerator, and get to take home whatever they were able to place inside the ref.
It was amusing to watch the teams map out their plans and formulate strategies. See which group made the best choices:
The first group of guys mostly got liquor and chocolates. I guess that's expected. Too bad they were not able to get a lot of items though.
The family of four was impressive because they all moved really fast and they got to fill every nook and cranny of the refrigerator. I'm sure they went home really pleased with themselves.
The third group, also composed of guys, did better than their counterpart.

1. For every P2,500.00, customer is entitled to one raffle entry. For every product bought, a customer can earn a maximum of 20 entries.
2. The customer will be given a flyer that contains the mechanics of the promotion and instructions on how to register for the raffle via SMS. To join, register via SMS with the following data:

The user will get a reply that he has to register in order to validate the entry that was just sent.
Step 2:

The user will get a reply that the entry has been validated and that registration is complete.
If the user buys another product and joins again after sending the first entry successfully, he just needs to key in

6. There are 8 weekly raffle draws. On the first 7 weekly raffle draws, there will be 6 winners per draw. 2 winners from Metro Manila, 2 winners from Luzon, 1 winner from Visayas, 1 winner from Mindanao.
7. On the 8th and final draw, there will be a total of 18 winners. 6 winners from Metro Manila, 6 winners from Luzon, 3 winners from Visayas, 3 winners from Mindanao.
