Bryan Termulo Releases His Sophomore Album "Hanggang Ngayon"

Many an aspiring artist know that there would be lots of obstacles once he decides to pursue his dreams of making it big someday. Bryan Termulo, who combines a strong work ethic with passion and dedication, continues on his journey aiming to achieve success the right way.

Orange Magazine TV believes that Bryan has more of himself to share with his fans and chose the 24-year-old lad from Bulacan to grace the online magazine's 2nd Anniversary cover. In a press con held at Moomba Bar in Quezon City, members of the media got to know more about the young man who is described to be simple yet promising as well as vigorous and young-at-heart.

Yan, as he is fondly called, was born on March 8, 1988 in Bocaue, Bulacan. He is the third child among four of parents Benigno and Ruth.

For those who don't know, Bryan got his first break in Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3, a singing contest in GMA7. Although he only finished as runner-up, the young man turned defeat into triumph as he continued to lay down the foundation for a career that carried him beyond idol status. Aided by the success of songs such as Dadalhin, Pagdating ng Panahon, and Hanggang Ngayon, the singer and storyteller paints pictures through his rendition of songs that are hopeful, inspiring, and proud.

Bryan released his debut album under BWB Records and Music Production Inc. Two of the songs in the album, Bihag and Paano Nangyari, were played in last year's hit teleserye 100 Days To Heaven

In 2010, he won two silver medals in rock and original works in addition to one bronze in R&B at the World Championships Performing Arts (WCOPA). He also won the 2011 Awit Awards' Best Album Packaging. Furthermore, Bryan was nominated by the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Music in 2012 for "New Male Recording Artist of the Year."

At present, Bryan Termulo is popularly known as The Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs of ABS-CBN. He is a regular mainstay of ASAP 2012 and is part of Boys Are Boys together with JM de Guzman, Markki Stroem, and Alex Castro. He is also kept busy with TV appearances, magazine interviews, and album tours and promotions.

Despite his multi-media artist and teen heartthrob status that induces screams from fans, Bryan remains humble and amazed at everything that's happening in his life. "I am happy and I feel really blessed. Two thumbs up ako [sa mga supporters ko]. Mas lalo ko silang naa-appreciate, lalo na ngayon, especially those who were there with me from the start."

He recognizes that he won't be where he is now without his fans. "Sila yung nakakapagpaluwag ng pakiramdam ko. If I'm feeling upset, kapag nandun sila ... nag-iiba talaga." Bryan adds how grateful he is to see supporters go out of their way to attend his out-of-town shows despite the distance. "May effort talaga sila. All for the love talaga. Tapos, minsan they give me something pa. They love to surprise me. Sila na nga yung pumupunta, sila pa yung nagbibigay. So sobrang very thankful ako talaga."

Aside from singing, the talented young man has started acting on TV and is doing very well. Still, he hasn't turned his back on music. In fact, Bryan has just released a new album entitled Hanggang Ngayon which is projected to surpass the success of his debut album, Begin.

The new album, distributed by Star Records, has 8 songs with a minus one counterpart. His friend, Raz Itum from Frio Band, composed the songs. The carrier single is currently playing in radio stations. "Very excited na rin ako kasi we'll be having a series of mall shows in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Abangan n'yo po ako," he calls out to fans all over the country.

Hanggang Ngayon is a song about pain and heartache. "Ito yung song para sa mga taong hindi maka-move on. Kumbaga, merong konting bitterness, pero longingness na rin at the same time." The new song was nominated at Tambayan OPM Music Awards 2012

As to what he wants to accomplish by year end, Bryan hopefully expresses, "Sana sa album na 'to, kung paano nag-Platinum yung Walang Hanggan, sana ganun din yung new album ko. Sana makalabas din ako ng bansa and makapag-perform pa sa bigger crowd." He adds that he wishes to collaborate someday with Sarah Geronimo and Angeline Quinto.  "Personally naman, I hope na makapagpatayo na ako ng bahay for my family."

With his feet-on-the-ground and the amount of talent he has, Bryan is surely on his way to bigger and better things in the coming months and years.

Hanggang Ngayon the sophomore album is available at all record bars nationwide. The Online Media Launch was made possible by BWB Records and Music Production Inc. in cooperation with OrangeMagazineTV.com, Pinoy Magazine, BND Hair Gallery by Bing Nogara-Dio, Lifeline, Dickies, Erase Placenta, and Moomba Bar & Restaurant.
