Alabang, Muntinlupa Now Has Its Own Tent Events Place!

I often get invited to concerts, exhibits, expos, and other big events in tent venues but they're all usually located in Makati and Taguig which are quite far from where I live in the South of Manila. So I was delighted to find out that we now have a tent events place here in Alabang!

Filinvest Alabang Inc., one of the country's pioneer developers, unveiled two days ago THE FILINVEST TENT which boasts of 2,000 square meters of unobstructed hall space. It is now the biggest among event tent venues followed closely by Le Pavilion at 1,850 sqms, the NBC Tent at 1,440 sqms., and Rockwell Tent at 751 sqms.

The Filinvest Tent is also the third biggest among exhibition tents next to the PICC Forum which measures 4,492 sqms, and the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay which has 3,000 sqms. This new venue is nestled amidst the lush greens of Filinvest City, a 244-hectare fully-integrated, self-contained, master-planned urban center.

Ms. Rose Nuqui and Mr. Danilo Antonio

According to Danilo Antonio, Managing Director of Filinvest's Commercial Centers Group, they are raising the bar for developments in the Metro. "With its size and world-class features and amenities, the Filinvest Tent is the event locale this side of the metropolis. With progress moving southward, Filinvest City makes sure it leads where the action is."

The Filinvest Tent's sheer size dwarfs most of Southern Manila's current event venues which can only accommodate a maximum of 1,000 guests. It prides itself with flexible accommodations that include a huge activity area that can be divided into two 1,000 sqm-space each; with a 400 sqm pre-function and registration area, well-appointed VIP lounge, a drop-off lobby with a canopied driveway, and ample parking space. There are also outdoor gardens next to the tent which can house alfresco cocktail events while providing a great view of Filinvest City's skyline.

Whether you're holding product launches, dinner parties, commencement exercises, weddings, car shows, fairs, or bazaars, you have the assurance that well-appointed events caterers, hotels, and service providers have been carefully selected to provide you with a wide choice of menu for any occasion or event. Rental fees, says Rose Nuqui, VP for the Marketing and Exhibits Group, are very competitive at P160,000 for 10 hours as their introductory price.

The Filinvest Tent is accessible via major thoroughfares in the South with its major entry and exit points being an easy 15-minute drive away from Makati or 10 minutes away from NAIA via the South Luzon Skyway. It can also be reached via major thoroughfares SLEX, Alabang-Zapote Road, Old National Highway, and Daang Hari. The verdant surroundings, ample parking space, and convenient network of roads and walkways moreover ensure a pleasurable experience for everyone.

Finally! Alabang has become really progressive. I won't be surprised if the place becomes as building-congested as Makati someday.
