Jaimie Alexander from THOR Stars in Blindspot, Warner TV's Intriguing New Series

A mind erased, a body of clues. That's the very intriguing tag line for Blindspot, a new series to premier on September 22 on Warner TV at 9:50PM. This show tells the story of a mysterious woman left inside a duffel bag in the middle of Times Square in New York City. The lady is completely naked but covered in hundreds of intricate tattoos. She doesn't know who she is and how she got there.

One tattoo, however, stood out from the rest -- the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller. Soon, Jane Doe (played by Jaimie Alexander, THOR) and the FBI realizes that each mark on her body leads to clues about a crime and her true identity. Weller (played by Sullivan Stapleton, Strike Back, 300: Rise of an Empire), along with his team and Assistant Director Mayfair (played by Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Without a Trace), then helps Jane piece her past together and solve a larger crime conspiracy one tattoo at a time.

Another interesting twist is the revelation of Jane's kick-ass skills, one by one, without her understanding how she acquired them. Meanwhile, Weller strives to connect and figure out why they were put in each other's paths.

I got to view the pilot episode ahead of the global premier on September 22 and I'd have to say I am already hooked! I love reading books and watching TV series with touches of mystery so this one is right up my alley. Jaimie Alexander is gorgeous and very talented. Her acting is impressive and I look forward to seeing more of Jane's skills unfold. She and Sullivan Stapleton make a good team.

The supporting cast members are also doing really well. They include Audrey Esparza (Floating Sunflowers), Rob Brown (The Dark Knight Rises), Ukwell Roach (The Royals), and Ashley Johnson (The Avengers).

no memory but with kick-ass skills
Marianne Lee, Channel Head of Warner TV and Turner International's Vice President of General Entertainment Content, described Blindspot as a great addition to Tuesday nights on Warner TV. "Airing after the second season of Gotham and on the same day as the US, this crime drama is sure to captivate Filipino audiences. It's an intriguing, compelling, and dynamic TV show, with plenty of twists and turns along the way," she said during the media press preview held in Black Market Warehouse Makati.

Blindspot is the brainchild of executive producer Martin Gero who loved thrillers and treasure maps as a child. "Her tattoos are a treasure map -- but with all treasure maps, there needs to be an end point and there needs to be somebody who made it," he explained. "As we go through the first season, we're trying to find out who did this and why. That is the central drive of the season."
