5 Good Reasons to Have a Staycation at the Azumi Boutique Hotel in Alabang, Muntinlupa

I've been living in Alabang since 1993 and know places where individuals or groups can unwind and have a good time. My latest discovery? The stylish and elegant Azumi Boutique Hotel in the Madrigal Business Park area!

Here are 5 good reasons why you should consider having a staycation here:

1. Azumi is a beautiful establishment with a warm and cozy ambiance. The lobby is tastefully designed and has plush seats that invite guests to linger and read the interesting coffee table books as well as admire the nice pieces displayed along the walls. It also has friendly staff members who are very helpful in handling inquiries and concerns.

2. The hotel has spacious rooms with soft, comfortable beds and many other amenities like cable TV and a fast (and free!) WiFi connection. My husband and I stayed in a garden room at the fifth floor, which has its own pretty balcony. The big sofa inside each room makes it possible to invite a couple of guests over during the day. Those who want to hold a big gathering can even make use of the function room at the roof deck (for a fee, I assume. Sorry I forgot to ask about rates).

3. There's free buffet breakfast for two at Cafe Romulo. They have a selection of dishes that includes salad, rice, scrambled eggs, fruits, other viands, and even sushi! This is a great way to store energy for the rest of your morning's activities before you check out or continue exploring the surrounding areas.

4. Azumi is walking distance to a lot of dining establishments. Although the hotel offers a shuttle service going to the nearby Alabang Town Center, we found it nice to walk going there for dinner. Since it was already nighttime, the air was cool and the stroll back helped digest some of our meal. In case you want to have some snacks in the middle of the night, you can also just cross the Alabang-Zapote Road and go to Molito Complex where there are 24-hour fast food and convenience stores.

5. Best of all, Azumi has an infinity pool located on the 17th floor! From way up there, you can see a wide expanse of Alabang with its many landmark buildings and the South Superhighway all the way to Laguna de Bay. The view is beautiful whether it's day or night so it's hard to resist the lure of the water especially with such a breathtaking vista before you.
