If you are such a person, you'll love what Empire Salon has to offer! This fairly new salon that has been generating buzz in the beauty and fashion industry recently held an exclusive mini show in Prive Bonifacio Global City to launch its Summer Hairstyle Collection.
Dubbed "Pastellic," the event featured a playful blend of candy and gem hues as well as metallic touches. "The colors are not very loud and there is a playful twist to it as well,"explained salon manager Angie Manabat.
Creative Director Sokie Mendoza describes the Pasteliic Collection as "the interpretation of London hairstyle fashion to the Filipino market; we only used touches of pastels instead of doing the full-blown job."
Among those who sported various hairstyles were Philippine Azkals football celebrities Aly Borromeo and Anton del Rosario. They were the last to walk the ramp before the unveiling of an editorial headpiece which the whole team worked on. The collaboration, according to Mendoza, is a "testament and manifest ion of our creative vision and hard work."
"We want Empire Salon to be known as a game-changer in this industry which relies heavily on one's talent, passion, and creativity," ends Manabat.
This establishment only started operations in late 2013 but its services have already become in demand in fashion circuits. For instance, Empire Salon was engaged by the British Embassy last March to do the makeup and hairstyles of the British fashion show models.
This month, Empire Salon will also be providing hair and makeup services to Manila Bulletin models for the newspaper's Arabian Nights themed Thanksgiving Dinner.
Empire Salon is located in Intercontinental Hotel Makati. It offers private suites for guests who want to enjoy being pampered in their own exclusive corner. Each suite is equipped with a computer tablet to make every visit a more pleasurable experience.
