Blog Giveaway: Race Against Raze Race Kits -- Run for a Cause (Winners Announced)

It's Fire Prevention Month next month and the second time there will be a Race Against Raze (RAR) Run.

RAR2 is presented by The Philippine Institute of Quezon City Alumni Association (PIQCAA) and St. Peter the Apostle School Alumni Association (SPASAA). This event happens on March 17, 2013 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. 

Following last year’s success, the race will have 3km, 5km, 10km and 16km events. Top 100 runners of every short distance event get Finisher Medals while all participants of the 16k category get Finisher Medals and Shirts.

Race Against Raze 2 is for the benefit of the Philippine Children's Medical Center's Child NeuroScience Center and the alumni associations’ scholarship funds.

Interested runners can register online on or before February 14, 2013 through www.pepsquadevents.com to get P100 OFF on their race kits. Registration sites will open from February 15 to March 10, 2013 in select Toby’s and Runnr branches:

RUNNR: Trinoma, Bonifacio High Street, Alabang Town Center
TOBY'S: Shangri-la, Glorietta 4, and Mall of Asia

Wanna get a race kit for free? Here's how:

1. Like the Race Against Raze and Write, Breathe, Live fan pages on Facebook.

2. Upload a photo of yourself running (whether in a race or during a practice run) and write on your status what race category you're interested to participate in (3k, 5, or 10k) and why. Don't forget to tag the RAR and WBL pages. (E.g. "I want to win a 3k race kit from Race Against Raze and Write, Breathe, Live because ...). Please make your status "Public" to make it visible to the fan pages' admins so we'd know you joined the contest. 

3. Valid entries per race category will be raffled off using Random.org services. One winner per category will be announced by the first week of March.

4.  Contest ends at 12MN of February 28, 2013. Winners will be sent PMs for coordination on claiming prizes. Race kits can be claimed at the Pepsquad office in Makati or in participating registration venues.

Since nobody sent an entry for the 3k category, the organizers decided to award two 10k race kits to two winners instead :)
