I like eating desserts in small doses. A spoonful of this and that can already make me happy. I found it great that Figaro has come up with pint-sized, mouth-watering cakes. Some, I bet, would gladly eat a whole piece by themselves but I prefer sharing one with a friend.

Recently, I got to try four of these yummy treats. The Fruit Cake (P135.00) is really, really good! It's moist and has lots of those candied fruits and nuts inside. The Red Velvet Cake (P129.00) is so pretty to look at and is also a must try. I love its creamy frosting and almond bits on the sides.

If you're fond of minty confections, go for Figaro's Peppermint Brownie (P59.00) because you'll taste the mint in every bite, not only on the frosting. Then, there's also the Butterscotch Bar (P55.00) that's just right to eat with coffee.

Looking for a nice, leather-bound journal for 2012? You might want to collect stamps for a Figaro's 2012 Signature Planner. Here's how:

1. For a minimum purchase of P350, you'll get a Figaro planner stampede card with one stamp. If your total purchases entitle you to more than one stamp, the cashier will stamp your box accordingly.
