Many of us know how devastating it is when a loved one is suddenly diagnosed with a serious medical condition. Last week, I found out that my five-year-old godson, RJ Betia, has been found to have leukemia. According to his dad there's a 70% chance of survival if RJ could undergo all the treatments and procedures needed for the next three years. RJ is currently confined at St. Lukes Medical Center in Quezon City.
The road to wellness may be long and difficult but we believe that everything is possible through God's grace and the generosity of people who care.
