For the past years, ladies who want to look chic in the corporate world have relied on Ensembles in providing them with creative, wearable clothes made by some of the most talented young fashion designers. After the success of its Designer Series by James Reyes, Debbie Co, and Louis Claparols, Ensembles now brings design duo, Choc Religioso-Dayrit and Yvette Religioso-Ilagan, on board for its special Holiday 2011 Collection.
The sisters recently celebrated their 4th year anniversary in the fashion industry. They started designing clothes in 2005 for Choc’s wedding entourage which soon gave birth to their own clothing brand. Choc and Yvette finally opened their flagship store in 2006 and have since continued to delight both their long-time and new clients.
Each of their collections originates from the classic button down shirt given a dash of drama that is the sisters’ signature. With them, the ubiquitous white shirt is turned into something so glamorous given the meticulous detailing they liberally put in. They also complement their tops with trousers, skirts and dresses made from luxurious materials.
Now, four years later, Religioso’s main line remains to embody the stylish, empowered woman of the new millennium but inspired by the genteel, well-dressed women of the past. It is still all about style, exclusivity, excellent workmanship, and building great relationships. Thus, these qualities make Ensembles and Religioso a perfect tandem in coming up with feminine, flattering, empowering, and timeless clothes.
For the first time, Yvette and Choc collaborate with Ensembles for its Holiday 2011 Designer Series Collection which carries Religioso’s signature designs that feature pleats and bows: classic pieces that offer a dash of style in creative details.
Asked to describe their collection for Ensembles, Yvette enthuses, “Every piece is stylish, but not faddish!” Their secret formula is the creation of pieces that adhere to style that transcends such that clients will see subtle yet impactful structured treatments using color blocking and pleated textures. “It was a wonderful experience collaborating with top retail brand Ensembles since it developed and opened more doors to [expand] our creative network.”
The Religioso collection hits Ensembles stores this September 16.
