If you've visited this blog several times already, you might have already noticed my penchant for blogging about pizzas and pastas. I simply love Italian food! And it is with joy whenever I discover a new place that serves these yummy treats.
The other day, a friend invited me to Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria which is located on the ground floor of RFM Building along Pioneer St. in Mandaluyong. Alas, I arrived late and didn't get to take photos of the first items they have already started eating.
I, however, still got to taste the heavenly Shrimp Fresh Salad (a healthy yet rewarding plate of fresh Romaine lettuce tossed with honey mustard dressing, topped with an enticing medley of scrumptious shrimps, croutons, and Parmesan cheese) and lip-smacking Barbecue Chicken Wings (deep fried and tossed with Joey Pepperoni's very own special barbecue blend). Next, we got to try different variants of pizza that smelled as good as they tasted. The dough has the right softness and crispness while the toppings are superb.
For dessert, we got to try their Pizza Cookie Dough and delicious Gelatos. I opted for the pistachio-flavored gelato and it is mmmm-good! I'll try the other flavors next time.
