Say Hello to Beeffalo Antipolo!

Two years ago, my husband and I discovered a quaint restaurant in Marikina called Beeffalo by Hotrocks that serves one of the best beef steaks I've had (and have craved for, since) among other dishes.  Back then, the dynamic team behind Beeffalo shared with us about opening a second branch in Antipolo. Finally, hubby and I got to visit their new place last Saturday.

Yey, finally got to visit Beeffalo Antipolo!
Despite the distance from our house, we excitedly visited the restaurant to see and chat with owners, Mr. and Mrs. Louie and Girlie Abad and their business partner Ms. Caren Diaz, again. Our reunion, as expected, was fun-filled and once more lasted for hours :)

just some of Beeffalo's mouthwatering dishes
Here's sharing some of the new and also well-loved items on the menu that we had for our extended lunch: The Broccoli Cheese Soup is thick and savory. Just perfect to start off a meal and whet the appetite.

I also loved taking bites out of the crunchy thin crust of the Garlic and Mushroom Pizza. Like the other variant I tried before (the Margherita Biscuit Pizza), this one is filled with flavors I like as well.

My husband, a big fan of ribs, of course ordered his favorite Baby Back Ribs, basted with Beeffalo's signature barbecue sauce, that has very tender meat easily separated from the bones. If you order this one, make sure you eat it with its perfect companion, the Java Rice.

Me? I would never miss ordering Beeffalo's Porterhouse Steak served with fresh vegetable salad and creamy mashed potatoes made from scratch. This remains one of my favorites in their menu because it's always cooked perfectly, just the way I like it. However, it now has been rivaled by a new dish!

As someone who enjoys eating sour food,  I fell in love with their new special Sizzling Beef Ribs in Tamarind Gravy. It's actually the classic Filipino sinigang deconstructed and served the Beeffalo way (two thumbs up, Ms. Girlie!). Just writing about it now tempts me to make the two hour trip to Antipolo! It is that good!

Don't fret though if you're a chicken lover. You can have your cravings, too, with the equally famous Beeffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dip. Go for the combination of sweet with hot and spicy pieces that's great for sharing.

Aside from lunch or dinner, you may also want to visit Beeffalo to have some snacks in the afternoon. Choose from various sandwiches with decadent fillings!

The Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup is a good combination to satisfy any appetite.

If you prefer sandwiches with meat, go for the Cheesesteak which is available as sandwich (ciabatta with fries) or wrap (tortilla with nachos). Either way, you'll definitely enjoy your tummy-filling meal.

Lastly, we had Brazo de Mercedes to cap off a very satisfying and enjoyable meal.

With lots of chika, laughter, good food, and the amusing antics of Roy, Ms. Caren's adorable dog, it was a fun afternoon that I hope would be repeated one day soon in Alabang (because we've been bugging them to put up a branch here!) :)

For now, discover your favorite everyday comfort food, too, at the new Beeffalo branch located at the heart of M.L. Quezon Avenue in Antipolo City.
