Pinoy Doughnut Pan de Donut is Now Baking at Pan De Manila

Filipinos are fans of breads. I think that's a given since many of us grew up having pan de sal for breakfast. This is probably why bakeries and pastry shops continue to open in various parts of the country.

Aside from the local favorites, Pinoys are known to like burgers and doughnuts. Pan de Manila, the well-loved bakery chain that brought back the beauty of traditional bread making, has just created its healthier version of an all-time favorite with a twist.

Each donut is "siksik" with bread and flavors so you'll already feel full after just one piece. If you want to try several, cut each into smaller pieces and share other flavors with loved ones.

Now initially baking at Pan de Manila Market Market, Taguig branch, Pan de Donuts provide an alternative to fried and sugar-heavy ring doughnuts by combining two of Pinoy's well-loved pastry items - the pan de sal and the doughnut. Pan de Donuts are baked and are bromate- and trans-fat free so expect every mouthful bite of soft and filling bread to be a healthy one.

What I most like about Pan de Donuts are the Filipino-inspired flavors that made me, and the other attendees during the product launch, reminisce our childhood. Some of the flavors include Chocnut, Polvoron, Ube, Pili, and Coconut Jam! We were invited to try our hand at designing our own Pan de Donuts and we sure had fun piling on the toppings.

personalized designs
Aside from Pan de Donuts, customers can expect more surprises to come out of Pan De Manila's oven with its upcoming Christmas goodies. The store will also be launching new breads and perfect partner spreads to welcome 2014 so watch out for those!

It is nice to know that aside from being attuned to the ever-changing taste of Filipinos, Pan de Manila also spreads hope and cheer through its various charitable causes that supports NGOs like the Rotary Club and a private foundation in Iloilo that initiated relief efforts for the typhoon-devastated areas in the northern part of Iloilo.

Pan de Manila also supported the International Graduate School of Leadership and the AFP in their outreach programs in Tacloban and Ormoc in Leyte by sending love through fresh breads all the way from Manila and Cebu to reach the greatly affected provinces.

Pan de Donut prices
At present, Pan de Manila has 153 outlets located in Manila, North and South Luzon, Cebu, and Iloilo. For news and updates, please follow pandemanilaofficial on Facebook and Instagram.
