SM Supermarket Launches the "Certified" Angus Beef and Chateau de France

There are two new reasons why people would be shopping more at SM Supermarket. One, the meat selection has been "beefed up" because SM is now offering one of the best-tasting meats known to man -- the Angus Beef. This kind of meat is known worldwide for its first class quality and taste. It is what chefs use to make perfect steaks, juicy roasts, and great tasting burgers.

Those who have tried Angus beef before know that this meat guarantees tenderness, juiciness, and extreme satisfaction in every bite. The differences are really noticeable between Angus beef and plain, regular beef.

"Angus" is actually a type of cattle that's native to Angus and Aberdeenshire, Scotland. These are hornless cows known for having one of the best marbled meats or nice fat-layered flesh, which is the reason for its superior taste and tenderness.

At the launch held in SM Makati the other day, Chef Kenneth Cacho of ISCAHM (International School for Culinary and Hotel Management) and his team demonstrated to guests how to cook a perfect Angus beef steak and shared cooking tips to make dishes more delectable. We got to taste what he prepared, along with Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi wines, and they are really savory.

Shoppers who will buy a kilo of Angus beef at SM Supermarket Makati can take home free imported cheeses like brie, blue cheese, edamer, gouda, mozzarella, aromeo, cedar red, and cedar white. The Certified Angus Beef will be initially available in the following selected SM Supermarket branches: Makati, Megamall A and B, Baguio, and Naga.

Likewise, the opening of Chateau de France bakeshop made good French bread more accessible to Filipinos. French food, after all, is considered to be one of the finest cuisines in the world and there's nothing like the sweet aroma of baking bread while snacking on croissants and macaroons.

Get your authentic and complete French bakery experience the next time you shop at SM Supermarket Makati. Try Chateau de France's baked goodies that taste as good as they are hard to pronounce! :)
