Mountain Dew Launches DEWmocracy Plus a Chance to Win a New Mitsubishi Strada!

Drinking Mountain Dew was part of my childhood. I remember being fascinated by the green bottle and its yellow green liquid that's very different from the dark-colored sodas many of my friends would usually buy.

Now, the iconic green color is joined by two new ones as Mountain Dew makes another historic mark by launching #DEWmocracy, a campaign where Dew lovers are invited to take a stand and let our voices be heard.

Choose your favorite between two new and exciting limited-edition flavors. Blue Shock is charged with raspberry citrus and is known to be cool and stunning. The distinct raspberry-like flavor lets action do the talking and leaves you, well, in shock! Conversely, Live Wire with a blast of orange is loud and electrifying. It is said to be the Dew that hypes the crowd before they start jumping.

The two new flavors were launched recently at Whitespace with two of the country's top influencers to lead each flavor to victory. Ramon Bautista, who heads the Blue Shock team, declared, "Iba talaga ang tama ng #DewBlueShock for me. It's something that competes the excitement of my day."

Sam YG, however, defended his team's flavor by saying #DewLiveWire is something that "definitely hits the spot. Pare, ito na ang bagong drink of choice ko! What a way to be unique!" Sam and Ramon were joined by other influencers in their teams who battled it out with fun challenges.

Over the years, Mountain Dew has been known to champion innovation with each campaign focusing on creativity, adventure, and passion to empower Dew drinkers to embrace new experiences and try new things. Be it action, sports, entertainment, art, or gaming, the brand provides refreshment on all levels.

Kay Paras, Mountain Dew Brand Manager, explained that the goal of the campaign is to "listen to what our consumers have to say and to allow them to engage with the brand. With DEWmocracy, every Filipino has a chance to take a stand, be heard, and select the flavor they want. In the end, your chosen flavor will remain."
