A Weekend Stay at the Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel

It is always nice to unwind once in a while by staying overnight in a comfortable hotel room. This past weekend, I got to stay in Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel with my hubby and a couple of our good friends. We needed the break from our usual routines and welcomed the brief respite.

I totally love the room we stayed in! The blue theme is soothing to the eyes and the huge bed with lots of pillows made for a really, really good sleep. The soft lighting also helped make the room look very inviting.

The personal welcome note I found beside the complimentary fruits on the small table was very much appreciated and I'm glad that we stayed on the 18th floor because the room has a very nice view where we can see all the way to Manila Bay!

Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel is located at the heart of Ermita, Manila, which makes it accessible to a lot of tourist spots and historical sites like Intramuros and Luneta, among many other must-see places in this part of the city.

However, it is likewise alright to just stay in and enjoy the amenities the hotel has to offer. For instance, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet offerings at Seasons will satisfy many of your food cravings. I found several international and local dishes there that truly delighted my palate.

All guest rooms in this hotel are equipped with nice features and amenities such as wall-to-wall carpeting, a writing table or coffee table, cable TV, refrigerator and mini bar, and coffee/tea facility. Although the air conditioning is centralized, it can be individually controlled in case you want to make your room warmer or colder. Those who can't live without the Internet for long will be happy to know that there is WiFi on all floors so it's easy to post photos or updates in social networking sites.

Before we left, hubby and I wandered around the hotel and checked out the pool area, gym, and chapel located at the 5th floor. Too bad we didn't have time anymore to try them out, including the spa. Here's hoping we'll get to come back one of these days for a longer stay.

If you want to explore Manila, stay at the Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel where you'll be sure to have a pleasant stay, eat good food, and find accessibility to a lot of sights the city has to offer.
