This summer, the heat gets more intense as a highly-anticipated all-day event will be held at Ayala Land's Circuit Makati on May 25th as part of the "Make It Happen, Make It Makati" campaign.
Dubbed Circuit Fest 2013 Music and Skate, this affair will feature music, skateboard tricks, and fun games. Sports and music fans alike can anticipate a totally unique experience as a fusion of aural and visual delights will surely appeal to a diverse audience composed on skating enthusiasts, music aficionados and all sorts of thrill-seekers and fun-loving spectators.
From what I've seen during the press con, hosted by Kat Alano, held the other day at the Tower One Stock Exchange Building, Circuit Fest 2013 will definitely have a celebratory vibe that perfectly complements the lure and charm of summer. After all, this is the season where people try to learn new stuff and tackle a whole fresh set of adventures!
In addition, what could be hotter and more irresistible than the idea of popular TV series Glee's resident hunk Mark Salling (a.k.a. Puck) hosting this big event?! For those who don't know, Mark is also a skating buff and he will share the limelight with skating legends Riley Hawk and Filipino-American Willy Santos who are also flying in to Manila to join the festivities.

Aside from the already exciting lineup of guests, a roster of international bands are also scheduled to perform throughout the day. These include Yellowcard, Mayday Parade, We Are The In Crowd, The Downtown Friction, This Century, Allstar Weekend, A+ Dropouts, Before You Exit, and Megan Nicole.

At the press con, members of the media got to ask questions to Before You Exit, Riley Hawk, and Mayday Parade (who said it would be their 3rd time to visit the Philippines) via Skype. All of them said they're looking forward to being in Manila and performing for their fans here. That was so cool! We further watched short video messages from the other bands and, of course, Mark Salling.
