Rapoo Breaks Through the Philippine IT Market



Wireless peripherals are in as more and more people are finding out that it's more convenient to have gadget accessories that don't have long cords that twist, knot up, and require time to untangle. Last February 6, peripherals brand Rapoo launched its multiple new product lines in Shangri-la Makati


Celebrating its 10th year anniversary, Rapoo gears itself to become a major player in the IT landscape alongside other international industry giants. The brand's presence in Philippine retail stores signifies its successful penetration into the fast-rising IT market in the country since its inception early last year.

In mid-2012, Rapoo introduced its line of innovative products and made them available nationwide through authorized dealers.


According to Rapoo officials, the brand's phenomenal rise is due to the speed of their peripherals and the price points that have made them very accessible to a broader market base as the cost of Rapoo products are 35% lower than its competitors'.

Recently, the brand unveiled three new product lines:


1. The 5G series - 3920P, 7800P, 8900P, and T120P - apply 5.8G technology in Rapoo's 5G optical mice which enables strong anti-interference capabilities. Using surfree technology, each mouse boasts of a super power in border crossing that allows it to run on any interface and works even on top of glass. The products also perform well in terms of power saving with an 18-month battery lifetime.


With a strong anti-jamming capability, the latest 5.8 transmission technology enables an operating distance to as far as 10 meters. 

2. The audio series - H8030, H3080, H6080, A3020, and A3060 - include wireless stereo headphones that have attractive appearances that have adopted the patent on-ear design and are equipped with comfortable earmuffs for noise reduction. They can be used with smartphones, tablets, and laptops to make it easier listening to digital sounds. The battery has a maximum ten-hour runtime thus music can be enjoyed longer, anywhere.


Likewise, the small and stylish portable speaker systems support Bluetooth 2.1+DER and is compatible with almost all audio devices. Although it works in wireless mode with a transmission distance of up to 10 meters, there's also a 3.5mm jack provided for working in wired mode. Each speaker is controlled by a touch button and comes with backlight function. The rechargeable, high-performance lithium battery is built-in which greatly reduces weight.

3. 2.4G optical mouse series - 6610, 1190, and 3360 - come in very nice designs and are said to perform remarkably well. Rapoo's wireless transmission technology provide users with a 10-meter working range wireless connection without any interference. Mouse control is made more accurate and smoother on surfaces with the 1000 DPI high-precision engine that is 2.5 times more precise as an ordinary optical engine.

  

In addition, the new generation energy-saving technology and power on/off button present in the 6610 and 3360 models enables the battery to last up to 9 months.

Rapoo, which was founded in 2002 in Shenzhen, China by then 23-year-old Michael Tsang, was initially an original design manufacturer (ODM) provider. Five years later, Rapoo was formally introduced as a brand and trade name.
