MCA's Music CD Sampler Giveaway (Winners Announced)

Edit, March 17: Please scroll down to the bottom to find out who the winners are :)

Sometime last January, I randomly posted this status on Facebook:

"Finishing tons of deadline while listening to MCA Music's Music Sampler Vol. 5. Nice songs! Love Krissy and Ericka's 12:51, Somedaydream's Christmas in Purple, Tricia Garcia Musicartandsoul's Tubig, Marie Digby's Your Love, and 1:43's Para Kang (reminds me of Tanya Markova)."

One of Somedaydream's fans asked where I bought the CD (which was given to me by MCA Music) because he wants a legit copy of Christmas in Purple. See, this particular song is not part of Somedaydream's debut album and is only available via digital download.

Since Music Samplers are mostly given to radio stations (and, sometimes, members of the media), they are not available for sale. But, thanks to Jerome, I got the idea to ask MCA if they could spare some copies of the CD so I could raffle them off to fans of the artists whose tracks are in the lineup.

Here are the contents of the 2011 MCA Music Sampler Vol. 05 (OPM)

So, who wants to own a rare copy of this sampler? :) I'm giving away two CDs. Here's the mechanics:

1) Like the MCA Music and the Write, Breathe, Live pages on Facebook so you can tag them later. Attach or copy-paste the link of this blog post (http://mommywrites.blogspot.com/2012/03/mcas-music-cd-sampler-giveaway.html) to your Facebook status message.

2) Write as your FB status: “I’d like to win an MCA Music (please tag the page) OPM CD Sampler via Write, Breathe, Live (please tag the page).” Make sure the status is set to "Public" so it will appear in MCA's and WBL's pages. Philippine residents only please. Failure to comply with the mechanics won’t make your entry eligible for the giveaway. If you want, you can also tag your favorite music artist (who has a song in the album) in your status message :)

3) Deadline of entries will be on 12MN of March 16. Winner will be chosen through an electronic draw via Random.org and announcement will be made on March 17 :) I'll send the CDs to the winners via courier as soon as I get their mailing addresses.

*If you want a double chance to win, follow MCA and follow me on Twitter and tweet me this message: "@ruthfloresca I'd like to win an @mca_music OPM CD sampler via Write Breathe Live http://bit.ly/wUlQaj" I'll include your name twice in the drawing.

Game? :)

Edit, March 17: The two winners of an MCA Music Sampler each have been drawn via Random.org just a few minutes ago. Here's the screen shot with all the entries:

And here's a zoomed in screen cap so it's easier to read the names of the two winners:

Congratulations Catherine Guillemer and Gabriel Llanera! Please PM me your mailing address via Facebook (Ruth Floresca) so I can send you your CDs via courier next week. I would just like to request that you post a photo of yourself holding your prize and tag Write, Breathe, Live on Facebook when you do receive the CD so I'd know you got it. Thank you in advance :)

And THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone for joining! Please stay tuned for more giveaways coming up like a signed Zia Quizon album and Slapshock's Kinse Kalibre album.
